Founder
Sam is currently a remote postdoc with Purdue University working to develop methods to age deer with genetics. She recently received her PhD from the University of Washington School of Environmental and Forest Sciences, where she ran the Seattle Coyote Study and co-ran the Sentinels of the City project. During this time period Sam worked alongside the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Urban Carnivore Project, and Seattle University to help promote co-existence with coyotes.
Alex is the Assistant Unit Leader of the Washington Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit and an Assistant Professor in the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences at the University of Washington. His research uses interdisciplinary approaches to link social and ecological systems with an emphasis on large carnivores, human communities, and environmental justice.

Catherine is currently a research scientist on contract to the Hydrological Sciences Laboratory at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Her work primarily focuses on deep learning and remote sensing for snow and water applications. Catherine obtained a Ph.D. in Environmental and Forest Sciences from the University of Washington studying the effects of snow on wildlife and her B.A. from Princeton University.
